Position Summary:

RCA is seeking a Business Analyst /Project Manager whose duties include project management and oversight, requirements gathering/documentation, scope management, issue resolution, quality assurance, and ensuring client satisfaction. S/He will be responsible for identifying and creating product requirements and taking ownership from initial concept through delivery. The Business Analyst/ Jr. Product Manager will need to understand existing processes and how they will impact the end customers and create new approaches. This role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

· Gather requirements, define functionality and set goals in order to drive product delivery with the engineering and project management teams.

· Define product requirements in the form of user stories and an engineering backlog

· Define and drive product metrics

· Analyze data and develop insights to inform product development and prioritization

· Ensure the information technology applications are available and flexible to meet the changing business environment

· Maintaining operational stability, application performance and immediate response to reported incidents are the performance measurements for the role

· Serve as an information technology subject matter expert for the applications and channels they support

· SQL code development to pull insights from various databases

· Deliver high quality, timely, and actionable insights that define opportunities and risks and translate into clear recommendations with associated implications for the business

· Educate stakeholders to empower them with accessible, actionable data and insights

· Present detailed quantitative analysis and qualitative insights to senior leadership in a manner that is easily interpreted and aids strategic and tactical decision making

 

Education & Experience

· Undergraduate and/or Masters in a discipline requiring a strong analytical aptitude

· 3+years of recent business analysis experience

· 3+years of recent project management experience

· Experience managing Software Application Development projects

· A good understanding of the SDLC and project management methodologies

· Ability to effectively manage project scope, schedule, and cost

· Ability to identify and manage issues and risks

· Ability to conduct business analysis exercises with the client

· Requirements gathering and documentation skills

· Must be proactive with solid organizational and time management skills

· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
